Where will your strength come from today – Psalm 19.14

Psalm 19:14  Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

Yeap, you are right, I just commented on this passage a few days ago.  But on reviewing it, I was struck by the last phrases, my strength and my redeemer.  Today, I want to remind myself with the use of every muscle, whether physical or mental, that it is God who provides the energy, the ability to move my body.  Help me, Lord, to make every movement, every thought, every decision as guided and energized by You.  Help me, O Lord, to remember that the freedom to choose has been granted by you.  I can choose to make my every motion and thought be for you, inline with your will, or I can choose to make it all about me.  You are my redeemer, Jesus. Help me to live like a man who has been set free of his sins because of your work on the cross and made alive again by the power of your resurrected life.  May I choose you over the world.  You are my Redeemer.
