Sanctify them through thy truth, thy word is truth John 17.17

The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.Psalm 12:6

Today, the Lord through his word flooded me with reminders that it is the word of God, the Bible, the scriptures that are the food of my soul. They are what will strengthen me. I was reminded to be aware of the hidden secrets the enemy will use to destroy me and my testimony. The problem is that all around me, the word of God is not trusted. People would rather believe in science and the lies told by the educated who have very little regard for God. Many who confess Jesus as their savior do the same. They would rather follow some influencer than the truth of the word of God. We by faith must learn to trust God’s word and look to it first for advice and guidance.
