Where do you meet with God – Numbers 17.4

Numbers 17:4 “4 And thou shalt lay them up in the tabernacle of the congregation before the testimony, where I will meet with you.”

Moses is called by God to collect a staff from each of the tribes of Israel. Then to take all twelve and place them in the place “where I will meet with you”. The purpose of the gathering is to clearly indicate to the Israelites that the Levites are his chosen priests.  Think, is there a place, a time, where you meet with God? Does God know when and where that will be? Establishing a consistent devotional or quiet time is essential if you are going to see God work in your life. It is there and then that God will begin to guide you in the decisions you make the rest of the day.
