Don’t Faint, be renewed 2 Corinthians 4.16
2 Corinthians 4:16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
Ever face the day and say, ‘I can’t do this any longer.’ Maybe it’s a matter of getting up and going to work. Maybe its a matter of feeling empty after reading the Word of God. Maybe it’s the frustration of cleaning the house, chasing the kids, and taking out the garbage. Those mundane, continually repeated tasks that just wear on you. We feel like quitting, fainting, giving in.
Even in our spiritual lives, we tire of trying to overcome sinful thoughts and habits. Temptation seems to be around every corner, and victory is fleeting. My friend. God knows this frustration you feel. He wants to give you encouragement. Will you sit and let Him speak to you today? To remind you, He’s got this. He gives us strength moment by moment, but will we cling to Him and depend on Him? Let Him renew you day by day, one day at a time.
