Open Heart Surgery Deuteronomy 6.4-6

Deuteronomy 6:4-6 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:

Those who hear or read the Word of God need to realize that there is only one true God who is worthy of being called “boss, leader, master, CEO of your life. And in order to show your commitment to the LORD, you will need to be willing to sacrifice your wants and desires to show appreciation and commitment to Him. But this must not be just an outward activity but one that comes from your heart, inside. The world is full of people who are willing to outwardly commit and say God is their Lord, but very few are willing to allow God to affect the decisions of their lives, allowing them to change inside, in their hearts.

Matthew 15:17-20 Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught? 18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. 19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: 20 These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.

It is time for some open-heart surgery. Do you trust God? Will you let him change you from the inside out? The heart carries life-giving nutrients and oxygen to the rest of the body. When we allow God to affect heart changes they will end up bringing strength and courage to all of our life. Only God can change a heart.
