11-9-2021 Know that I am LORD

 Ezekiel 7: …and they shall know that I am the LORD.

What will it take for us and our nation to acknowledge that the God of the Bible, Jehovah, Jesus is in control and deserves to be listened to.

Colossians 2:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. 

Ezekiel is warning Israel of the destruction they will bring upon themselves if they continue to ignore Jehovah.

Throughout history we see the rise and fall of nations.  We see the destruction and bondage created by nations that think they are more powerful than others.  Nations that feel that they should be in control, whose plans and ideologies are all that matters.  Yet God has created every individual on this earth, past and present in His image.  A great starting place, but one that is quickly marred and changed by selfishness.  Yet in all this God never forces the will of man.  Why do we think as individuals, mature adults that we should be able to force people to agree with our opinions.  I obviously have an opinion about the authority of the Word of God but I would be wrong if I forced others to abide by my convictions. We need to start allowing others to hold a differing opinion, after all it is just an opinion.

It is our task while on this earth to learn of our Heavenly father and provide the bait, and the techniques to sway men to willfully embrace the will of their Creator through the salvation that comes only through the Lord Jesus.

Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
